Adult Choir Chime Choir Featured Musicians Special Events Art in the Sanctuary
Through music and the arts we enhance our lives and gain a deeper understanding of our own spirituality. UUCV provides a
supportive and appreciative environment for artists of all venues to
showcase their talents.
From the musicians flow spiritual
gifts given in performance; they in turn receive the gift of listening
from the congregants. We provide opportunities for both performer and
listener during worship services and at special entertainment events
featuring a variety of music.
Through art on our sanctuary walls, we
provide a visual focus for congregants during worship and opportunities
for quiet reflection, sharing of experience and discussion afterwards.
By supporting the visual arts, we foster creativity and freedom of
speech.
When we join with others in dance, we find spiritual fellowship, renewed energy and innocent joy.
